On November 19, 2025, the Gauhati High Court Kohima Bench officially launched its eOffice Portal, inaugurated by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Michael Zothankhuma in the presence of Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Yarenjungla Longkumer. The implementation of this software aims to modernize the court's administrative ecosystem by transitioning traditional, physical file management into a fully paperless, transparent, and digital workflow. By processing file movements, note approvals, and correspondences electronically, the system drastically reduces paper consumption, minimizes operational delays, and enhances overall accountability and traceability in alignment with national digital standards.
